The attic staircase Type 12 Solid consists of a 27 cm high hatch box made of MDF boards and a fold-out metal staircase. It is classified as fire-retardant EI₂30, tested according to EN 1363 and EN 1634, so it can withstand fire for at least 30 minutes. With its 65 mm thick bottom cover, the Type 12 Solid achieves a U-value of 1.3 W/m²K. With an optionally available top cover, this value can be reduced additionally.

Flexible design.

The Type 12 Solid is available in three different sizes. Depending on the dimensions of the hatch box, it can be used in ceiling openings with a length and width of 120×70, 130×70 or 140×70 cm.

The bottom cover of the Type 12 Solid is white on both sides and thus blends inconspicuously into the room appearance. The metal ladder itself is also finished in a classic white.

Sustainable use.

Only high-quality materials are used in the construction of the Type 12 Solid to ensure that the product lasts as long as possible. But also the long-term comfort when climbing stairs is an important factor when choosing a loft ladder. Since the steps of the Type 12 Solid have slight grooves, there is no risk of slipping when climbing into your loft. For additional safety, you can hold on to the yellow powder-coated steel handrail.
