    Anyone looking for a fire-retardant loft ladder is well advised to choose the Type 18 Prestige. It is classified in fire resistance class EI230 according to EN 1363 and EN 1634. This means that it can withstand a fire for at least 30 minutes. Moreover, the 31 cm high lining box together with the 6.5 cm thick lid provide good thermal insulation with a U-value of 1.3 W/m2K.

    Flexible design.

    The Type 18 Prestige is produced in four different sizes. Depending on the variant, it thus fits into ceiling openings with a length and width of 120×60, 120×70, 130×70 or 140×70 cm. The scissor staircase can be extended to a length of up to 290 cm. A height extension element is also available as an option for the Type 18 Prestige. With this you can extend the staircase by up to 25 cm and achieve a maximum room height of 315 cm.

    Sustainable use.

    Minka scissor stairs are made of powder-coated steel. This makes them stable and resistant to scratches and other wear and tear. To support a safe ascent, a telescopic handrail can be optionally attached to the Type 18 Prestige.
