Custom attic ladder 118M with scissor-style metal staircase, white insulated hatch door, and surrounding upper cover. The ladder features a thermal insulation value of 1.3 W/m²K and is EI30 fire-rated. Red lever arms support the opening and closing mechanism.

Description

The Type 118M is a custom-made attic ladder with tested fire protection. The steel frame is manufactured to your specifications within the available size range. Send us an enquiry using the contact form or by email and include the required dimensions.

Made to measure

The steel frame can be between 90 and 150 cm long and between 60 and 90 cm wide. Depending on the size of the ceiling opening, the ladder is suitable for room heights between 265 and 360 cm.

A matching hatch casing is not included and can be ordered separately if required.

The Type 118M has an EI₂ 30 fire resistance rating as standard and provides 30 minutes of fire resistance. An EI₂ 60 version is available for an additional charge.

Safe access to your attic

The concertina ladder is made of powder-coated steel. Light grooves in the treads improve grip when climbing up and down. The 65 mm thick lower hatch panel achieves a U-value of 1.3 W/m²K.
